Château Latour is one of the world's most famous wine producers, offering premium Bordeaux blends from its estate vineyards in the Medoc region, in the famous wine-producing village of Pauillac. Tours are offered by appointment, usually with a month's advance reservation. Latour offerings include some the world's most expensive 1st cru classé wines. The estate was established in 1378.

The wine estate was originally established in 1234 as Chateau Lafite and has been owned by the Rothschild family since the early 1900s. There is a wine-centered museum on the premises. Winery visits are by appointment only, with two weeks advance notice. There is no fee for tasting wines after the tour, which is available in both English and French. The winery is closed from August until the end of October.
