Eleuthera, playground to many of the rich and famous, is one of the longest islands in the Bahamian archipelago. More than 110 miles long, but less than two miles wide, the island is home to about 10,500 residents. It lies some 60 miles to the west of Nassau and, with three airports – Governor’s Harbour, North Eleuthera and Rock Sound – and daily flights from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Nassau, it’s one of the most accessible of the Out Islands.
