In town, the main draws are the Luther Museum and the Bachhaus. Most museums in Eisenach are open seven days a week. </p> </div> </div> </div> <p> <strong>Eisenach</strong> </p> <p> The old town of Eisenach suffered major damage during World War II. Under Communist rule, little was spent on upkeep and many historic buildings were torn down. Things changed dramatically after the <em>Wende</em>.
